The HR team provides value add by:
Defining, implementing and/or maintaining overarching HR strategy, policies, and guidelines for VISHAY or assigned entities.
Planning and coordinating, and/or implementing HR projects and processes (i.e., programs, initiatives, and surveys, etc...).
Ensuring HR operations and matters (i.e., performance mgmt., leaves or disciplinary matters, disputes, legal claims, etc.)
Identifying organization staffing and recruiting needs, and ensuring or executes effective recruitment programs.
Ensuring utilization, or effectively utilizing HR systems and tools (e.g. HRIS systems, HR cloud services, etc...)
Monitoring and ensuring the organization’s compliance with employment laws and regulations.
A manager at this level:
Ensures adherence to overarching standards, guidelines, and assigned budgets. Monitors spendings.
Organizes work in the team(s) with respect to current or near-future workload, and monitor efficiency and effectiveness of service.
Ensures effective utilization of infrastructure, and may adapt methods or procedures when appropriate.
Evaluates work results and discusses with responsible management or project lead further proceedings.
Manages stakeholder contacts within own part of the value chain, and with external market partners.
