Vishay Blatná is currently looking for applicants for the position of PRODUCTION MANAGER.

About the location: The branch in Blatná is the oldest production site in Bohemia. It is located at Paštická 1243 and Paštická 1096. It was founded in 1994. It manufactures products such as capacitors, converters, trimmers, which are part of power plants, shipping and aviation industries. It currently employs approximately 570 employees.

Main job description:

• Production management of 400 employees of which 5 direct subordinates
• Planning and optimization of production processes with an emphasis on efficiency
•  Ensuring compliance with quality and work safety standards
• Designing and implementing measures to increase efficiency, reduce costs and improve production quality
• Assist in planning of production capacity and resources to meet order deadlines
• Collaborating on the staffing of production departments
• Managing, motivating and developing subordinate staff
• Promote positive interpersonal relationships and create suitable working conditions
• Reporting to the Plant Manager

Qualification required:

• University/high school education in a technical field
• Proven experience as a production director
• Deep knowledge of production management
• Proven management skills
• Time flexibility, ability to work under pressure, consistency, good collaboration skills
• Ability to motivate a team
• Outstanding communication ability
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing fundamentals and experience managing cost reducing projects in manufacturing
• Proficient in MS Office and ERP software (SAP)
• Fluent in Czech language, advanced level of English
• German is an advantage
